Before the elders get too scary looking, the babies are almost kitten-cute. Unfortunately shunned, opossums are heroes in the nighttime for all the good they do. (It’s a long list)

These are lovingly carved from poplar, and painted with layers of latex enamel, hopefully suggesting scruffiness.
